Our Philosophy
Willow strives to offer custom personalized service, and yet stay current and modern.
We realize today's clients want digital files, so we have made digital files available
to our clients both a la carte and in collections. Willow offers portraiture that is
contemporary, fun, and unique, without ever sacrificing timelessness. We want all of our
work to still be relevant in 15 years. We work hard to provide our clients with work we feel
amazing about and work not to just create portraits, but to create art.
Why Willow?
Willow has worked with children for more than 5 years and so we feel we truly excel in the art of the photographing children.
Photographing children and families is so different from very other type of photography. It requires an easiness with kids, a silliness
and willing to look ridiculous, and a quick response to capture the fleeting moments. We have spent years practicing the art of
capturing happy family moments and quick toddler expressions, so we can confidently say we feel we are most skilled in this area.
We also offer our clients a variety of options. Instead of requiring you to come to a studio, we make each session unique and adventure
to various locations with our clients so no two sessions look the same. After the session, we strive to offer the same level of
variety through offering a la carte prints, digital packages, and a la carte files to provide our clients with the freedom to print
and save their images themselves. Finally, we feel we set ourselves apart from other studios because of our eye. We see things
differently. We see strange spots in the landscape that make beautiful images, and we have an eye for design. We feel it's that artistic
eye that separates our images from other Austin photographers.
Austin Sessions
There are so many things that make Austin a dream city for an artist- especially a photographer. We love this city's
appreciation for fine art portraiture. Between Town Lake, The Green Belt, all of the beautiful botanical gardens, South Congress,
and the surrounding fields all around the city, we can accommodate any type of session. We encourage our clients to look over our website
and decide what type of images they like best. Look over our urban downtown shoots, our warm and sunny sunset field shoots, and our
green, vivid park shoots and let us know what appeals to you. We are also always happy to come out to your home or to so some combination
of the two. We often love doing sessions that start in a park and end with an activity such as Amy's ice-cream or Snobeach snow cones.
We are always up for any unique idea, so throw them at us!
Surrounding Towns
Willow works in Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Leander, Pflugerville, Kyle, Bastrop, and Taylor as well. In fact, we are generally able to do any shoot within a 60 mile radius. Being travelers by nature, few towns are out our radius. We are always happy to suggest fields or parks in surrounding suburbs, and of course always thrilled to take new suggestions as well.
What are senior sessions like?
Willow is a modern Austin senior photographer and Round Rock senior photographer. Senior sessions are a bit of an adventure.
We typically combine working in a downtown urban setting with working in fields at sunset. Your senior session will
consist of fun portraits that document this part of your life, as well as formal headshots for your yearbook.
Charitable Contributions
Willow gives back to the Austin community throughout the year and is always happy to make donations to auctions. We typically
donate to 10 auctions per year so if you are putting together an auction and are looking for a contributing photographer, please
contact us about donating a package.
